Bio
I discovered art as a child making costumes for my paper dolls. My first art classes were at Hutchinson Community Junior College. I initially started making art and theater garments for myself and others. Art classes at Wichita Center for the Arts and CityArts propelled me into my current work in visual art. Classes at Wichita State University introduced me to organizing and structuring the elements of art and the artistic process. Working with Arts Partners in Wichita helped develop my skills by teaching the elements of art and its connection to learning styles. I continue my lifetime art learning at MarkArts. My emotions and reactions to music and world events are revealed in my art.
