Founded by Reuben Saunders in 1978, RSG started on East Central and quickly attracted an exciting bevy of artists. Over the years, they have become known for consigned and estate art from the Prairie Print Makers and associated American artists, such as Birger Sandzén, William Dickerson, Sue Jean Covacevich, Clayton Staples and Lester Raymer.
In 2015, RSG moved to its current vintage brick storefront at 3215 E. Douglas, making it a key member of the Douglas Design District and a leading venue for First Fridays and must-see art openings. In 2021, founder and namesake Reuben Saunders handed the reins to Mike Michaelis and Trish VanOsdel.
Newly represented artists, opened up main exhibition gallery and new offerings such as artisan jewelry and handcrafted furniture make each visit an act of discovery.
